The NASLSC Nipper winter surf skills training program will focus on surf swim skills development.
Board sessions will run on the weeks that conditions permit. This will be communicated to the group in advance.
The purpose of the program is to upskill our nippers during the offseason and enter the new season with confidence, while at the same stage staying connected with our NASLSC community.
The program will be open to U9 and over nippers.
Safety: Safety is paramount. Nippers attending must be able to swim 150m proficient in the ocean. No flexibility with this off-season program on this safety feature. (If your child is not proficient, they can still join the program if they have a proficient parent with them for 1:1 Safety.)
A parent or guardian must remain at the beach at all times during the session.
Training Program Information:
Starts Date: Sunday 14th May 2023
Starts Time: 9am
Duration of each Session: 1 hr per session
Duration of Program: Will run for 10 weeks.
Cost: $100 per child
Payment must be made prior to commencing the program.
Important Information:
- Families will also be required to renew their NA registration for the 2023/24 season no later than 24/7/23 for insurance reasons and will not be able to participate in the program after this date if they have not done so.
