Would you like to use a club board?
One of the ways North Avoca SLSC encourages all our nippers to participate and grow their skills is through our hire board system.
This system offers board hire agreements to members who wish to use a club board for one season.
To be eligible for a hire board you must meet the below criteria:
1. Must be a Financial Member of North Avoca SLSC
2. The board paddler shall:
a) Compete regularly at Club events (Sunday Nippers and Club Championships)
b) Compete at local and Branch carnivals
c) Attend board training
As the number of boards are limited, priority will be given to those with a family member that actively assists with the North Avoca SLSC in the following:
a) Official (carnival and club activities)
b) Water safety (carnival and club activities)
c) Age manager (carnival and club activities)
d) Competition coordinator
The cost of the hire board agreement for one season is:
Foam Board
Nipper Glass Board
Racing Mal
NOTE: The Board Hire Fee includes $90 Training & Competition Levy, so there is no need to purchase this separately.
To purchase a Board Hire Contract, follow these steps:
- Visit our online store and purchase a Board Hire Contract.
- Please fill out the Carnival Helpers Form and select the carnivals where you can help out.
- Attend the club to pick-up your board when advised by the Junior Activities Team.
More information on the details of the hire board agreement and the process to apply for hire boards will be provided by the Junior Activities team at the start of each season.
